Welcome to “Porn In The Valley”, A Former Pornstar’s Experience in Porn Valley, California

I decided to make “Porn In The Valley” a blog about how pornography is affecting our society after working as a performer inside the porn industry from 2007 to 2009. People want to believe that it’s just harmless entertainment and it’s quickly moving into the mainstream. But does anyone really think about the price of what that harmless entertainment is costing our world and our children’s innocence??

You’ll find a compilation of articles, research and information about the realities of porn from verified sources so you can read the truth for yourself. Below you will find what I learned during the time that I worked there and since I left. I’m still working to rebuild my life despite the stigma that follows me everywhere.

It’s not the glamorous and fun lifestyle they want you to think that it is. I know the general perception is that everyone works there because they really want to. You think they are having a great time. You think that they absolutely love having sex. The fact is women end up in the porn industry because of many different reasons, not a single one of which are because they love sex.

They may have been abused as children. They may have had to leave home to get away from that abuse. Many have drug habits to feed because they are trying to dull the pain from traumatic events in their lives. Many women are trying to escape poverty, thinking they can make a lot of money doing porn in order to get back on their feet. It’s fiction that women make a lot of money in porn. Most pornstars don’t even have a place to call home. That’s the false advertising and recruitment methods they use to get teen girls and women there. These girls live out of their suitcases and travel from model house to model house. They are not living in mansions unless they’re staying in some pimp’s house where they have to trade sex for a place to sleep. If they weren’t staying in these model homes, most would be homeless and living on the street.

Thousands of young women go to major cities every year wanting to be actors, models, musicians and artists. They are recruited everyday over the internet and given the hope that they can truly reach stardom. The fact is the porn industry’s recruiters are running the same game the average street pimp plays. The only real difference is the stakes are much higher. They make billions of dollars off these women in the porn industry. The selling of women and children for sex in America is only 2nd behind weapons and drugs for illegal sales in our country. When you start to put together the staggering statistics, you’ll realize real fast that porn doesn’t have anything to do with the women. We’re facing an epidemic that’s growing right here in America and Hollywood is promoting it to all of you as just another form of entertainment.

Did you know that over 75% of THE ENTIRE WORLD’S pornography is produced right HERE in OUR country??  That’s right, America is responsible for the booming porn industry and over 4 million hardcore porn sites on the internet. This is a multibillion dollar a year problem that our country has created and is cultivating. In order to keep producing fresh content for the millions of consumers who are buying porn every day, they need fresh faces which the industry calls “fresh meat”. They have to bring in fresh young girls to update those 4 million websites on a weekly basis. Women are not human beings to them. Instead we are simply body parts they peddle to the consumer through their websites and videos. The only way the porn industry can get that many young women to come to Porn Valley, is to reach into your homes and touch your families through their online recruiting and Hollywood promotions.

The porn industry has addicted millions of men and boys to sex and porn. Sexual addiction can actually change the way your brain functions. An orgasm creates a chemical reaction in your brain that is extremely similar to that of using heroin. Every time you masturbate to porn, you’re supplying your brain with another drug fix. They want you all to become addicted to their product because that will make sure you’re a lifetime consumer. Did you know the average age to view porn for the first time is 11 years old?? Did you know the largest group of viewers of all that free porn on the internet is between the ages of 11 and 17?? There are millions of free hardcore porn images and videos easily assessable to our kids on the internet today. Viewing porn online for most of these kids is the first sexual experience they will have. Our youth’s sexuality is being formed right now by these sexual predators and human sex traffickers of America. Young people are growing up thinking porn sex is how sex is supposed to be but it couldn’t be any further from actual reality.

Porn sells you the fantasy that girls are only good for one thing which is sex. They make you look at women as body parts instead of real people. They sell you the fantasy that all girls love sex and want to have sex in the same ways they do it in porn. They make you think it’s the girl’s role to service and please a man with nothing received or expected in return. The truth is girls in porn do not enjoy the sex in their scenes. They experience pain and humiliation during the entire process of shooting a sex scene. Some girls cry throughout the whole process. Many girls are really angry by the time the producer yells cut. They hate being ejaculated on their faces and often get very rude with the male performers as soon as it’s over. Most of the girls end up on drugs and alcohol just to be able to get through a porn scene. They tend to be very depressed unless they are high. They have no life outside of the sex industries. They got into the industry thinking it would be fun and to make some extra money, maybe get famous. Once they’re there, instead they find themselves stuck in a world of abuse and degradation. Once you do that first scene and your video hits the internet, you can never undo what you’ve done. This brings the women in porn feelings of great shame. This is what the producers and agents count on to keep these women there so they can continue to abuse them.

There’s sexual predators disguised as entertainment agencies that recruit the girls through social networking systems and is the number one recruiting tool of the sex industries. It’s like having a catalog of young women and children to peruse through. Chose a girl and recruit her into sexual slavery. It’s as easy as becoming her friend on the internet. Young people are talking online about their lives and their problems every day. There are sexual predators out there who take that same information and then they will use it to target those same young women. This is how girls are so easily recruited to the sex industries. It’s why right here in America, they can so easily end up as a victim of sex trafficking. These girls are making decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. Yet, they have no idea how these actions will affect their futures because our internet, media and television sources are telling them it’s a lot of fun and easy money to be a part of the entertainment industries.

The day a young woman does her first shoot, the reality of the porn industry starts to sink in but by then she thinks it’s too late to back out. And there’s a whole lot of people around pushing her to make sure she stays right where she’s at. You go into a studio and are told to strip naked in front of a bunch of strangers which are mostly older men. The producers talk to you about what to wear and what you’ll be doing. They get the set together while you get ready to have sex with a stranger who is chosen by the producer, not you. There will be people all around watching what you’re doing the whole time. There’s hot, blinding lights shining on you and the cameras are stuck right in your face throughout the sex acts. You start with the setup scene where you set the storyline. Then you get into the actual sex acts. It all takes about 40 minutes to shoot. You work through the sex scene in sections. As you’re performing the sex, the producer stops you off and on to do different positions and say different lines. You have to do each position for 3-8 minutes so you have to time what, when and how you do everything. We have a check list running in our minds of everything we have to do that we tick off while we are performing so we can’t even pay attention to the sex that we’re having. There’s no romance and very little kissing in this process and there sure isn’t any foreplay to let us get ready. Enjoying it is the farthest thing from our mind. We just want it to be over so we can collect our money and leave.

The positions are very uncomfortable because you have to stretch and hold yourself in certain ways so they can get the camera in to shoot their close ups. You have to stop and then go back into full action as soon as the camera is rolling again. You have to fake that you’re in the middle of ecstasy when you just spent 10 minutes waiting for them to adjust something. If something doesn’t look or work right, you have to redo it over and over until it’s exactly what the producer wants. Nobody asks what you think or want. When you’re done, everyone goes to separate rooms to clean up and get dressed. You pack up your stuff, get your pay and then you leave. You push it all as far as you can from your mind and go home to soak your sore body in the tub. Doesn’t sound much like a party, does it?? It sure doesn’t sound like much fun!!

Once a girl goes into porn, especially if someone influential wants her as their sex slave, she has a very small chance of getting out without some major help. The porn industry does their best to break her down and take her soul so she can’t leave them unless they decide that they are through with her. If they decide they can’t use her anymore, they will do whatever they can to destroy her. They try to push her to commit suicide so she can’t speak out against them. They want people to think she’s just some crazy porn whore so they will post the most damaging things on the internet to discredit and ruin her reputation. They will take her down so no one will believe her if she tries to speak out about what they’ve all been doing to abuse her. The porn industry works hard to keep their assets from leaving through isolation, intimidation and fear. They use all the typical methods of mind control that cult leaders use when building their secret societies. These young women and children are their assets that can be resold over and over and over again. Remember, selling women and children for sex is only 2nd behind selling illegal weapons and drugs in our country. The sex industries are growing bigger and more powerful every year. Their goal is to be number one. Whether it be stripping, escorting or performing in porn, once a girl ends up in one of the sex industries, they will make it very hard if not impossible for her to leave and survive.

The industry is actually full of illegal activities and criminals. Many of the men in the porn industry have criminal records in assault, drugs, molestation and rape. The producers of porn will even tell you they break our laws every day. They brag in mainstream media and Hollywood promotions about how they get away with breaking the law. They say no one is going to stop them from continuing to do business this way. They say because we’re just porn whores, no one really cares what they do to us and so far our country isn’t showing these girls anything different. The porn industry is exploiting our legal system to perpetrate their crimes against humanity. This is happening in every major city in America. There are thousands of young girls and women who go to LA, Miami and New York every year. There are women from all over the world going to these international hubs in our country where human sex trafficking is flourishing right now as we all sit here.

If a performer does leave and speaks out against the porn industry as I’m doing here today, they will harass, threaten and stalk you to take away your very hope for survival. I have been receiving death threats for 4 years now. They regularly release my personal information in public forums, including my real name and my location. They spread horrible lies online to degrade and slander me. They do whatever they can to hurt my chances of getting a real job and keeping one. They know I can’t afford an attorney to put a stop to their destruction of my life. They know that police agencies can’t do much to help me because the court systems won’t uphold the laws we already have on our books. I cannot imagine how the younger women and teenagers leave and survive. They will try to take any hope you have of living a normal life. You see, if a woman succeeds in leaving the porn industry and speaks out against them, she educates others so people will understand what’s really happening to these young women in our own country. Very few women make it out of the porn industry and if they do they normally have to go into hiding. Instead, girls either become industry sex slaves or if not, they’re much more likely to die then to get out and go on with their lives!!

Women and children are being bought and sold in America every day through our porn industry. That’s a hard fact to swallow but it’s true. There are sexual predators out there capitalizing on our young women and children’s innocence. These women and children deserve safety and respect in their lives. We, as a nation, need to realize, that for each and every young woman or child we allow to be degraded, abused and sold in our sex industries, there’s not a single woman in our world who is safe from becoming a victim of human sex trafficking. As young men continue to be exposed to free porn and see women being used as sexual objects to degrade and abuse, Porn Valley is simply training these same men to be the next generation of sexual predators by addicting them all to their product. And if the men in our country weren’t buying human beings to use as their personal sex slaves and getting away with it, there’d be no women and children to be bought and sold as reusable assets in our country. As a nation, we have to stand up and say enough is enough to these crimes. We’re talking about our own American citizen’s basic human rights being violated in our own country that promises freedom.

Please take the time to contact your politicians and tell them you want women and children to be safe in our country. Tell them to start enforcing the laws that we have to fight against the porn industry. Support organizations like those you can find here in the “Make a Difference” section to help women and children to regain their freedom and their lives from the hands of these criminals. Go to the “Make a Difference” section to find links to our government leaders and these charitable organizations.

These victims need work training programs so they can find gainful employment. They need counseling services to recover from the drug dependence and psychological abuse that many girls in the industry suffer from. They need health services because there are multiple STDs and sexual injuries that need to be treated and healed. They need shelters so they can leave and have a place to go and recover. They need a safe place where they can heal.

We need our nation to open their hearts and their minds in order to save these young women from slavery. We need help to move them back into the real world so they can go on with healthy and productive lives. And most of all remember, women are human beings not just sex toys. We all need your respect, your compassion and your love not the abuse and degradation you see in all those porn videos. We’ve all got to stop believing the lies of the porn industry if we want to truly call ourselves real Americans.

Thank you for stopping by “Porn In The Valley” to inform yourself about how pornography is affecting us all!!

xoxox,

Diana
