Trying to Catch Up - Our Fun on the Trip

It has been a crazy busy week but one of the most fun I've had in quite a while. First of all, here's the pic that was taken when we first pulled up to our hotel. Our good friend, Kory, was nice enough to send them to us for posting. We figure he had some insider information to know where we were staying. We didn't even know ourselves until we were on our way in the town car. But Kory has been a fan of ours for a long time now so we were glad he got the chance to meet us. With all the rain and people around, we were so taken by surprise. I wish we would've had more time with him to at least talk for a minute. But we had a dinner to get ready for and we were all soaking wet lol.

Tuesday morning, we got up around 5am to get ready for Howard Stern. It's funny because we didn't think we'd be nervous since we had been there before but we both were. It was like seeing family when we got there though. Everyone was so happy to see us and our entire time with Howard, Robin and the team was time we will never forget. I posted the play by play of the show thanks to www.marksfriggin.com but of course have to share our behind the scenes fun as well. Ron Jeremy and Dennis were with us in the green room we had. We didn't meet the contestants until we were on the show.

Everyone was just perfect giving their stories and we had a tough time picking, everyone was so nice. During a commercial break Howard came over and talked to us for the whole thing. He's just the coolest guy I know in mainstream entertainment. He asked us lots of questions about how we were doing and I know he was sincere in his concerns. He and Dennis are both so generous to us both. 2 days of appearances on Howard's show gave us and the Bunny Ranch lots of fun PR. And Dennis paid for all the trip and the great rooms that we had. He even put up Matt and his two daughters in 2 rooms at the same hotel so that they could have an even better time in NYC. None of them had ever been. That night, Ron Jeremy was cool enough to take them all to a rock concert. All these guys are so generous to us "Just because we like you" they always say. That's worth more than gold in my book. I get asked why I do the things that I do and having such great times as these is a good example of why I stay in the adult biz. I meet alot of wonderful people that give me faith in mankind. And man, do we have a great time along the way

After all the show stuff was done on Tuesday, Elli and I took a cruise to see the Statue of Liberty. We bought one of the tourist passes and also rode around in a double decker bus to see some of the city. I'd been to NYC 3 times and Elli had been once but we'd never really gotten to see anything. This was definitely a different story as we explored as much as we had time for. That night we went to the Comedy Cellar where we saw some hilarious acts. We ended the night somewhat early since we were back at Howard's studio at 6:45am Wednesday morning.

We went back on the show and talked about our date. The family who won was in happy spirits which was the best part of the contest. The dad and his 2 daughters got to spend a few days in NYC together for their fathers day. We all headed out after the show to explore more of the city. This is when my luck started to change. We went to breakfast and I broke a tooth as I ate. All I could think was I was so happy it happened after the shows were all done. But it caused a problem for my audition in SF the next day. That wasn't the only thing that messed that event up that day.

I wasn't too concerned about the tooth from the work standpoint. I've had a few caps so know the drill well. It is a tooth I had work on when I had insurance and just hadn't been able to get it fixed until now. Amazing how everytime I get alittle ahead, something comes up to take care of that for me lol. The next thing that happened was our flight home that afternoon. We ended up with some delays so it was 1am in the morning when we got home. By the time I got ready for bed, it was 2am. There was no way I was going to make it to SF for that audition. Let's see, past exhausted and a busted tooth. Yeah right, that's a perfect way to get a good part lol.

Needless to say, my guy isn't too happy with me. I'm going to try to reschedule it but who know if I can. There's other show auditions that come along. To me, I say, it must not have been meant to be. I just know I couldn't have driven the 4-5 hours to get there after the week I had and the delays. Yesterday, we went to Tea Party and the Doc at the ranch since we were both home. I can't get into the dentist referred to me until next week. It's a side tooth so everyone says it's not that noticable. I've got some stuff to cover it for now. A temporary filling that at least helps protect it. Since I couldn't get to the dentist today, Elli and I decided to check out a waterpark in Sparks, not far from Reno. I hadn't played in the sun and water for a long time now so I feel great tonight but very sleepy. Elli is headed out to see a friend in FL tomorrow morning. I've got to get her to the airport by 5am. Then off to work I go at 10am. I have to set up our new room.

On the way to the waterpark, my phone rang. It was a reporter from the LA Times. I was expecting her call and we had 45 minutes until we reached the park so we did a phone interview while on the way. She wanted to talk about the HIV Outbreak in porn and the AIM coverup. Shelley had also talked to her and I said it was okay to give her my info. It was great actually to have a voice in all of this. I thanked the reporter for the coverage their paper has been giving this whole issue. They have been keeping this topic hot in the news. And it seems every time they do, new facts come to light. They keep asking very good questions. Hopefully, we gave them good information so they can ask more. Seems the more they uncover, the more AIM comes up with new excuses and lame reasoning. They are lying about specifics and the whole industry knows how it really works. I say allow any accredited medical lab to be able to do the testing. AND MANDATORY CONDOMS FOR ALL FUTURE SHOOTS. It's clear that the people in the industry as well as AIM cannot be trusted to responsibly police their own industry and manage their own policy standards. IT'S CLEAR WE NEED LEGISLATION FOR REGULATION to ensure this gross indifference cannot threaten the lives of the people who depend on this work for their livelihood ever again!!

To eradicate porn is not even close to a reality but to make safer porn is as easy and as cheap as a $1 condom!!! Is that not worth our lives!!!
