The average age of first exposure to pornography is eleven. Relatively few families have filtering software to block Internet pornography so millions of kids view pornography daily. For many, this is the only sex education they will ever get.

Pornography profoundly and negatively changes the developing brain of a child. Many will become addicted to pornography and never be treated, causing life-long harm to themselves and others. Children imitate behavior they view in adult pornography and sexually act out with other children and even with their own siblings.

Sexual perpetrators use adult pornography to groom their child victims and “teach” them that sex is okay. Many child pornographers start out with an interest only in adult pornography but, then due to brain changes caused by porn, deviate down to child pornography and child molestation.

Porn Harms children.
