NOTE TO DICK CHENEY: Men Do Not Buy Playboy for the Articles and You Just Supported the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Women Everywhere

EDITORIAL: Playboy is in SOOOOO much hot water these days, it is a serious mistake for any politician to work with them, regardless of what it’s for. Playboy and Hugh Hefner are great friends with serial rapist, Bill Cosby. Such good friends, in fact, that Hugh Hefner gave Bill Cosby a weekend resort (the Playboy Mansion) where he could choose his potential victims and enact his sexual assaults. The world also learned how Hugh Hefner allows underage teens to attend his parties and be sexually victimized at his mansion as well.

We know that in November 2014, Playboy brought a Uruguayan prostitution through Miami border patrol illegally for sex work here in the US. This violates the Mann Act, TVPA and RICO Act.

We know that over the past several months, and after many came forward about being victims of Bill Cosby’s sexual assaults, Playboy bunnies have also begun speaking out about the abuses suffered through their employment/association with Playboy aka Manwin. Drugs and alcohol abuse, illegal sexual contracts, restriction of personal activity (which is kidnapping), commercial sexual exploitation, debt bondage, fraud and coercion have all been described as usual behavior experienced by most teen girls and women who either have worked there or are still currently employed.

Our government has supported and protected this criminal corporate sexual slave master for 50 years or more now. Thousands of teen girls and women have been violated during that time period. It’s time to end the sexual slavery of American females and that means ending America’s association with these corporate sex slave masters. These ‘legal’ entities are safe havens for organized crime and sex trafficking. If America is EVER going to provide an equal environment for female citizens, we must shut down our so called ‘legal’ sex industries which are really nothing more than government sanctioned sex slave prison camps!

SIGN MY PETITION TODAY: DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION INTO PLAYBOY’S MANN ACT, TVPA AND RICO VIOLATIONS. It’s time for Playboy, Manwin and Hugh Hefner to be held accountable for their crimes!

Statement by National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s Executive Director, Dawn Hawkins

Washington, DC (March 18, 2015) –Former US Vice President, Dick Cheney’s decision to use the sexually exploitive forum, Playboy, to make a political statement about Obama and racism communicates that he is okay with pornography, sexual exploitation, and does not want to reach women with his message.

Playboy has done more to promote pornography than any other entity in the world. It is responsible in great part for the public health crisis now overwhelming families and society at all levels. Playboy’s introduction into American culture has served to break down social mores, ultimately spawning addictive behaviors, decay of marriage, the increase of child pornography and child predators, the increase of sexual violence, and more demand for trafficked and prostituted women and children.

Is Dick Cheney trying not to be heard? What woman would find his interview in a magazine that profits from the sexual exploitation of women? Cheney’s action says to women, “I’m not talking to you and you’re no more than an object to be gawked at.” Cheney’s choice to give an exclusive interview to an explicit publication further mainstreams pornography usage and fuels the acceptance of the hyper-sexualized, pornified state of our nation. As a former public servant, Cheney must know that Playboy promotes sexual exploitation and is an inappropriate forum to make a statement intended for the general public.
